Jericho loves sweet potatoes, too! I've also done butternut squash, which is really easy. And I normally skip the blender and use a fork or potato masher, since squash and sweet potatoes are already pretty soft.

I also try to incorporate a little healthy fat (usually coconut oil) with his food because it helps the body absorb vitamins more easily and readily.

And if Dallas likes to feed herself, I would invest in a mesh feeder (Target sells one made by Munchkin). Jericho loves his!

Thanks for the review. I saw that book the other day and I am considering getting it when we actually start to even *think* about having kids. :)

Sounds good! I've never thought of chili with ground pork instead. I love it when kitchen experiments turn out well!

Well, I went ahead and ordered it. It was frustrating tho because the site I was on said "free shipping on this item" and then I went to the checkout and it wasn't free. It was still like $1 cheaper than elsewhere but more than I thought I'd have to pay for it. Oh well, if this goes well I can make a bulk purchase and it will be a lot cheaper.

Yeah we tried regular multi-vitamins but sometimes they make me sick and we were both awful at remembering to take it. So this will probably be our only supplement as well. Hopefully I will "trick" my husband into taking it with the promise of cinnamon flavor. lol.

Mary, the lowest price I have been able to find for the Green Pastures brand is $43 through our buying club. There are quite a few servings in one bottle, so it should last a while. Let me know if you find it somewhere else for cheaper. Supplements can add up, (that's why this is the only one I take other than my prenatal- since I'm nursing) but I find this one to be worth the price.

I was going to order mine this weekend, but it's so expensive, I am still hoping to find a better price for the same brand.
